Nina Fischer holds the Edgar Astaire Fellowship in Jewish Studies at the University of Edinburgh, and she is currently working on a book project on cultural representation of Jerusalem from the 19th century until today. Previously she was a postdoctoral research fellow at the Hebrew University, the Australian National University, and the University of Konstanz. In Konstanz, she was also the project manager of the ‘History & Memory’ research group. Her first monograph on the literature of children of Holocaust survivors will be published in due course.
