Clive Lawton is co-founder of Limmud and scholar-in-residence at the London Jewish Cultural Centre. He writes, ‘Though feelings run very high both within and outwith the Jewish world when it comes to Israel, there is often more heat than light when the subject comes up.’ In this session, Clive will attempt to make sure we think about Israel, analysing the various different positions that Jews might take on the topic and exploring why this may well have become the most divisive issue on the Jewish table today.
