2020 Season talks postponed

After discussion amongst the Committee of the Edinburgh Jewish Literary Society, we have reluctantly come to the decision in the light of the Covid 19 virus that we should postpone Gillian Raab’s talk scheduled for Sunday 22nd April. We are conscious that our audience is disproportionately made up of those over 60 and with some with underlying health conditions so that this seems the responsible decision to make. We intend to reschedule Gillian’s talk at a future date.

We are also in discussion with the remaining three speakers on our programme in April and May and we will communicate with members and friends when we are clear about these future meetings.

We have had a successful year so far with some very fine talks and I would like to thank everyone for their continuing support and to bear with us over these necessary changes and some continued uncertainty.

Howard Wollman
President Edinburgh Jewish Literary Society.
